Unitree Technology officially listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market on August 19, 2026, with an opening price of 150.80 yuan per share and a total market capitalization of approximately 60.99 billion yuan. The IPO was oversubscribed 8,288 times, reflecting extraordinary investor demand for China's first publicly traded pure-play humanoid robot company.

On the eve of listing, Unitree released a demonstration video of its 'Superman' robot platform. The robot achieved a standing high jump of 2 meters and a running speed of 12.66 meters per second — both figures surpassing corresponding human world records. The demonstration was designed to showcase the platform's极限 dynamic capabilities in leg actuation and whole-body control.

According to the listing prospectus, Unitree reported H1 2026 revenue of 1.152 billion yuan, a significant increase driven by humanoid robot deliveries. The company stated that cumulative robot production has reached 18,000 units, positioning it as one of the world's largest humanoid robot manufacturers by volume.

The listing comes at a pivotal moment for the industry. According to SAG's H1 2026 global shipment report, Chinese manufacturers captured 97% of global humanoid robot shipments, with Unitree and AGIBOT together accounting for approximately 75% of the total. Unitree shipped about 5,900 units in H1 2026, representing 31% global market share.

Huatai Securities noted that the robotics industry is transitioning from 'theme-based valuation' to 'production and demand validation pricing.' Unitree's listing price is expected to become a new valuation anchor for the sector. Analysts highlighted two key themes: domestic supply chain progress (with H1 production exceeding 40,000 units) and the approaching Tesla Optimus production timeline.

The robotics industry is shifting from theme-based valuation to production and demand validation pricing.
