Neura Robotics Closes $1.4B Series C, the Largest Humanoid Round of 2026
Germany's Neura Robotics raised roughly $1.4 billion in a Series C led by Tether, with Nvidia, Amazon, Qualcomm, Bosch and Schaeffler participating, reaching a valuation of about $7 billion. The milestone-contingent financing ties disbursement to production and deployment targets for its cognitive humanoid 4NE-1, positioning Europe as a serious third pole in physical AI alongside the US and China.

Neura Robotics, headquartered in Metzingen, Germany, has raised the largest single humanoid robotics round of 2026 — a Series C of roughly $1.4 billion (up to about $1.48B in total) led by Tether Holdings, with participation from Nvidia, Amazon, Qualcomm, Robert Bosch and Schaeffler. The European Investment Bank also participated, marking EU-level strategic interest in physical AI.
The round values Neura at approximately $7 billion. Its milestone-contingent structure ties the release of capital to concrete production and deployment targets, a discipline increasingly common as investors push humanoid makers from demos toward real-world revenue.
Neura has been shipping MAiRA units to enterprise customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for automotive assembly, pharmaceutical logistics and research-lab applications. Its cognitive humanoid, the 4NE-1, combines proprietary sensor hardware with a cognitive AI stack so the robot can perceive, reason and collaborate safely with people.
The company also embedded Tether's Wallet Development Kit into its MAiRA and 4NE-1 platforms, enabling what it describes as the first hardware-anchored stablecoin payment system in commercial robotics.
With this raise, Europe now has a credible flagship in a race that has been dominated by American and Chinese firms — a signal that the continent intends to build and scale globally competitive humanoid platforms rather than merely consume them.
We expect the field to consolidate around a handful of category leaders across the US, Europe, and China.
