UK's Humanoid Raises $152M, Becoming Europe's First Pure-Play Humanoid Unicorn

Humanoid, a UK-based AI and robotics company building industrial humanoid robots, announced a $152 million Series A financing at a $1.35 billion post-money valuation. The round brings total funding raised to date to $270 million and was led by Prime Movers Lab, with participation from Schaeffler, Bosch, Fubon Financial Holding Venture Capital and Aglaé Ventures.

Founded just two years ago, Humanoid has become one of the fastest-growing companies in the sector, describing itself as Europe's first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn. It has secured partnerships with Fortune 500 firms including SAP, Nvidia, Bosch and Siemens.

Most notably, Humanoid signed the industry's largest publicly announced commercial agreement — with Schaeffler — for the large-scale deployment of thousands of humanoid robots in manufacturing environments. Bosch will act as its contract manufacturing partner while also advising on hardware design, production and supply chain.

The new capital funds development and launch of Humanoid's next-generation platform, long-term commercial deployments across logistics, manufacturing and retail beginning with a Q4 2026 roll-out of Beta robots, the start of mass manufacturing of wheel-based humanoids, and continued development of its proprietary AI brain, KinetIQ.

CEO and founder Artem Sokolov said the company had gone 'from an idea to becoming Europe's first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn' in just two years, with the funding intended to turn humanoid robots 'from breakthrough technology into everyday industrial tools.'

This funding gives us the resources to move even faster and to turn humanoid robots from breakthrough technology into everyday industrial tools.

— Artem Sokolov, Founder & CEO of Humanoid
